We live in Austin, Texas, and got married in 2022. We were longtime Mint users who found ourselves struggling to combine our finances in a way that worked for both of us.
We even read an interesting book called The Marriage Test that had some pretty crazy ideas—like swapping credit cards . We tried various approaches, but what we discovered was much simpler: the best way to manage money together was just to find a time each week to openly look at our spending and review it together.
That regular rhythm of honest conversation was what worked. However, we couldn't find a simple tool that made it easy to see our combined accounts in one place. Everything was either too complicated, built for individuals, or required jumping between multiple apps and spreadsheets.
We believe money should bring couples together, not drive them apart.
So we built the tool we wished existed.

We built it to make our weekly money reviews simple and stress-free—a place where we could easily review our spending, stay on top of our budget, and track our goals together.
